We have created this space so that your pet is cared for and safe when you cannot take care of it. 

 

If you have a trip, an event or any circumstance that prevents you from caring for your pet and you need someone to take care of it, we will do it for you, with the confidence of security that our space offers. The best home for your pet, as if it were at home.

 

Our hotel is made up of two areas, one for dogs and one for cats, both with adequate space, food and attention.

RULES, SERVICES AND RATES

For everyone's well-being, it is important that you know the admission regulations, rates and services.

 

For a proper development of our Hotel as well as to ensure a pleasant stay for your pet, we have established different type of rules and requirements of mandatory compliance.

1. Health book/ Passport and vaccines.

  • Dog: must provide the health book or passport.
    • The microchip has to be under the name of the owner.
    • Rabies vaccine done from three months of age. The vaccine has to be in a valid period of time under current legislation.
    • Booster vaccine. (valid period for 1 year).
    • Kennel cough vaccine (valid period for 1 year). If it is the first time that you administer the vaccine it has to be done at least 72 hours prior the check-in at the hotel.
    • The puppies, must come with microchip and the appropriate vaccines for their age. The hotel will not accept puppies below 3 months old.

2. Treatment against external and internal parasites.

  • External: The pet must to come with prior treatment against external parasites (fleas and ticks mostly). If the client wishes we can offer the treatment from The Hotel. If even having acquired any prior treatment and wich hasn't been effective or the period of validity would've finished during their staying, The Hotel will do an appropiate prevent treatment for it's continuity by the owner.
  • Internal: The pet must to have done the proper treatments against inernal parasites being necesary at least 4 worming treatments per year (1 every 3 months). If it's detected that the pet has any internal parasites during their staying The Hotel will aply an appropiate treatment by the owner.

The health book must be provided at the moment of the check-in. Centro Veterinario Petlovers could perform any necessary previous treatments before the entrance under the owner requeriment. In case of not following this requeriments The Hotel will not accept the entrance of the pet in our facilities.

 

3. Nutrition

  • During the stay at The Hotel, your pet will be fed with high quality food, depending on their usual diet.
  • However, if you want to keep doing their usual meal you could bring us their own one and we will give individually. In this case it will be necessary to indicate the amount of grams that you're giving to your pet daily and how many times a day to avoid any fast change to their diet.
  • If the client wishes, the pet could be fed with homemade food. The food would have to be in individually portions inside small plastic bags and frozen.
  • In case that your pet is taking any medicine or their require a specific treatment The Hotel must be informed at the check-in time and bring to us the necessary amount for the days of their stay.
  • Every single box has 2 food bowls in case that we have to do dry and wet food at the same time and a drinking bowl.

4. Toys, blankets and beds

  • The client could bring for the pet any toys, blankets or beds. The Hotel must to be informed of these personal belongings at the check-in time. These objects will remain in the box assigned to your pet and in any case could be taken to the common area where the pets already have different toys to share.
  • Every single dog's box will have a plastic crib with the right size for each pet.
  • Every cattery will have litter, bed, scratching post, toys and different elements for a good environmental enrichment.

5. Other requeriments:

  • To manage your pets as safely as possible it is mandatory to bring with your dogs a collar and a leash. The cats must to come inside the carrier.
  • You must to tell at the check-in time if you pet has any disease, allergy, or any particularity to have under consideration.
  • If the owner wants for their pet grooming service it has to be asked previously specifying what kind of service is required and when it is prefered to do it. The service will be paid at check-in time.
  • For a good control and hygiene of the pets we highly recomend to the owners to bring the brushes, humid paper or the different hygiene products that you use in your pets rutine to allow our staff to use them with the owners specifications.

6. Right of admision

  • Under any circumstances pets that are aggressive towards people, won't be allowed.
  • In case of socialization problems with the rest of the pets the staff will consider the chance to allow or not the stay depending on how serious the case is. If at the moment of the stay at The Hotel the female is on heat or it is coming soon, it is the responsability of the owner to warn the staff at the moment of the admission. In case that the owner didn't warn of this circumstance The Hotel is not responsible for possible mounts that may occur in the common area.

7. Veterinary care

  • If during the stay at The Hotel and under the criteria of our doctors, the pet needed veterinary atention, our staff will contact with the owner and their usual veterinary doctor to take an agreed decision. It will be our own doctors whom take over the case informing later to the usual veterinary doctor.
  • In case of an extreme emergency, the pet will be attended inmediatly by our staff at The Hotel, informing later to their usual veterinary doctor about the case.
  • In both cases the cost due these circumstances will be paid by the owner.

 

8. Reservations

  • Our availability is limited: 20 box for dogs and 10 cattery.
  • The reservations could be done at Centro Veterinario Petlovers, by telephone, email, whatsapp and at The Hotel.
  • To consider the reservation done it will be necessary to pay a half of the bill at the moment of the admission. The reservation won't be effective untill the payment has been confirmed. The client will recieve a email or message via whatsapp to confirm the payment.
  • In the event of cancellation, whether it is made one week in advance or sooner, the full amount of the quantity made to guarantee the reservation will be refunded. If the cancellation is made less than a week in advance, 50% of the amount paid to confirm the reservation will be refunded.
  • The payment can be done at Centro Veterinario Petlovers, at The Hotel (cash or card) or via bank transfer.
  • If you wish to hire the heater service in the box you must indicate at the moment of the reservantion in the comments section. This service must to be paid directly in our facilites, the heater service will cost 2,50€ per day. If the client needed to aply for any extra days, The Hotel will let the client know it's availability. If there is availability the client must pay for the extra days before they begin.

9. Schedule for check-in and check-out

  • Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 7:30 pm and Saturdays from 8:30am to 1:30pm.
  • It won't be possible to do the check-in or or check out, out of the stablished schedule and in the following days: Sundays and Bank Holidays.
  • For the good development and organitation of The Hotel it will be necessary comunicate with anteriority the time for the check-in and check-out.
  • If the stay period has finished and the owner didn't pick the pet up, the staff of Centro Veterinario Petlovers and Petlovers Dog & Cat Hotel will try to contact them via the telephone numbers that the owners gave to us at the moment of the admission. If this it is not possible and 24 hours of time has elpased there will be a charge, the double price of the fee. If the pet is considered abandoned, the staff will contact with the corresponding authorities to process a complaint for abandonement.

10. Fees and discounts

  • The boxes and the catterys are individual to guarantee the security of the pet from the other ones at The Hotel.
  • The number of "dogs per box" or "cats per cattery" it is understood like "pets of the same owner".
  • The stay is always counted as number of days. If the time of drop off and collections differ from our times slots example: drop off (9:30) collection (18:30) a nursery fee will be charged. You can see our nursery fees right below.
  • The payment must be done in cash.
  • If the stay of the pet is over 15 days you will get a discount voucher of the 5%.
  • Delivery and collections with homeservice will have an extra charge of 5€ per route.
  • The festivities will have a different fee. Pets below 15kg (15€) and pets over 15Kg (18€).
